Conferences and Talks

I have presented papers and delivered invited talks on various topics related to my areas of expertise in the UK, India, and USA. I have spoken about my work, and delivered lectures and workshops at the University of Oxford, Brunel University of London, Institute of English Studies (UoLondon), the University of Cambridge, UCL, KCL, The University of Amsterdam, the University of Johannesburg, New York University, Georgetown University, the University of Glasgow, Kristu Jayanti College (Bangalore), Delhi university, IIT Delhi, and JNU, among others.

I have organised panels at a number of international conferences, including the American Comparative Literature Association (ACLA) and Modern Languages Association (MLA) conventions. In January 2021, I co-organised two working group sessions on “Critique in the Postcolonial Anthropocene” at the MLA convention. They were the inaugural meetings of an international research network I co-convene on The Postcolonial Anthropocene. I organised another panel on planetary temporalities and the climate crisis at a conference on “The Aesthetics of Geopower” at the University of Amsterdam in April 2024.
